As -hh pointed-out, these things happen, in the political realm.

Was John McCain "sexist" because he choose Sarah Palin as a running
mate?  No, even though she obviously was chosen because she's a woman
(and a good-looking one).

Maybe that was "beauty'ist".

Hell, by "Kurt's" standard, above, advocating affirmative action makes
you a racist!

I that it's wrong of Biden to restrict the SCOTUS candidates based on
race or gender, but would not call those who disagree "racists".  I'd
call them wrong.  I would call them misguided.
