World Rat Day

April 4 is World Rat Day.

That is significant to me since Rat is a SSOSOSS (species someone
of other species of significant sign) to me, so is a minor deity to me.
I received a sign from Rat early in the Year of the Rat in 1996
as described on https://www.nfld.com/~dalton/rat.html . In
case you don’t want to click on that, here is the relevant paragraph:

"Early in the Chinese year, in the Year of the Rat, when I, my sister Anne
and her two daughters were travelling west from St. John's to Lakeview
along the Conception Bay Highway, a large rat raced Olympic fashion
rapidly to the edge of the road and made a flying leap to hit our car. We
backed up to find it was dead and I dragged it off the road, and later
thought that it had committed self-sacrifice and would be reincarnated i
n higher form after hitting the `car of ma.’ “

Anyway, I plan to next try a mystic attempt beginning in the early
evening of April 4 and leading up to Easter Sunday morning,
and will report progress on alt.religion.druid .
