Part of the magic of movies is seeing actors (successfully) playing characters you would never expect them to be able to. Although I would agree it is easier to do this the other way around: young actor, old character -- as in /Scrooge/, for example. And, anyway, he could be a 63-year-old with a grade-school grandson.
