It is not difficult to run a remailer. Basicly you need a static IP address, a free Domain name and the Mixmaster or YAMN software and a computer. If you have a static IP address I would first suggest that you get familiar with running a (postfix) mail server via VPN Tunnel (at home) and see that you properly can receive and send mail. Once this is done then you can concentrate on setting-up a Remailer. Maybe this can help for a Yamn remailer. https://sec3.net/yamnhelp/ or for a Mixmaster remailer http://mixmaster.sourceforge.net/faq.shtml Also you can certainly ask here in APAS. Since there are always weirdos and crazy people, exit remailer are not popular with the authorities. You can quickly get a "visit" at home. The likelihood of a "visit", however, depends on which country you live in. But I have the feeling that someone has "asked" exit remailer to stop their service. To run a non exit remailer should not bring any dangers, but this may depend on your country. But we need more remailer, be it an exit or an non exit remailer.
