You can prove "I published this first" without > revealing who "I" actually is. What i mean is when mfv binds the merkle root to an onion address, it proves: "The entity controlling private key X published content Y at time Z". You prove ownership without proving identity. The only thing connecting "you" to your content is a file: /var/lib/tor/hidden_service/hs_ed25519_secret_key Protect that key and you own your words forever, anonymously. For those of us publishing content that powerful people would rather see silenced, this is the missing piece: reputation and proof without exposure. What do you think?
