Where do the names alt.binaries.boneless and alt.binaries.bloaf come from?

At some point someone typed /control newgroup alt.binaries.boneless/
on their computer to create the group. 

There has to be an explanation for this. I searched all the places and
couldn’t find a *CONVINCING* answer about the origin of these group
names.

Does anyone know the story behind alt.binaries.boneless and
alt.binaries.bloaf or they names are just randomly generated in the
old days of Usenet?
