> Buttscratcher Mountain is located in a portion of the Appalachian Mountain Range known as the Great Baggy Mountains, in Assville, North Carolina. Its name was said to have been coined in the mid-1800s[2] by James McKinney, who once boinked his sister-in-law, Charlotte McMensa, after watching her stroll the mountainside nekkid with her "beau".
