Christians always say:

But then all of a sudden they make a 180 degree turn when the Roman occupation of the Jews and tax collectors come up, for some reason these are enemies of the Jews despite being a state and representatives of a state, and tax collectors are said to be immoral. And now all of a sudden the only reason is because Jews hated them, something that they normally say doesn't determine whether someone is an enemy or not, and doesn't determine whether someone is immoral or not.
Why the contradiction?
