Scientists reconstructed the oldest known Homo sapien skull
found in Morocco, which was missing the lower jaw when it
was uncovered in 2017.

The team created a digital scan of the cranium, layering it
with soft tissue and skin to produce a man described as
being 'strong and serene.'

The ancient skull proved Homo sapiens appeared 100,000 years
earlier than thought and migrated out of Africa before previous
evidence had suggested.

   Strictly, there's no such thing as a "human" ... we
   are a multi-mixed hybrid - a melting-pot sum-average
   of many tribes and even sub-sub-species going back
   several hundred thousand years. Non-'black' "humans"
   are neanderthal hybrids, maybe some h.erectus and
   a couple of others in the mix too. Through Tibet and
   southern China and out into the pacific islands there
   are genetics of Denisovians (a Neanderthal cousin)
   as well.

   The bones found in Morocco are the earliest found
   that are anatomically 'close enough' to fit into
   the modern spectrum of "human".

   Visualize the situation. Tribal groups go off looking
   for better places to live. The spend some time at
   inbreeding, which can concentrate some traits, and
   then encounter other tribes that have done the
   same. Then do it over and over and over for a VERY
   long time. By 300K ago we finally see an 'average'
   look and feel which seems to have stuck.

   For good/bad/incidental reasons the hybridization
   continues. Modern travel tech has increased this.
   Maybe in a few thousand years or so we'll kind of
   arrive at the final hybrid ... one averaged
   enough so you can't tell what part of the world
   someone came from.

   Then we'll find OTHER excuses to piss on each other  :-)
