While there's no known evidence that Will Donkey ever beat up his disabled brother, we have his word that Stinky George did... beating him over the head with a metal rod.

It's also strongly suspected that Will lived off of his brother's Disability check for many years -- in effect, taking advantage of his condition, and robbing him of money intended for his care.

In the photos Will posted of Brother Dave in his final years, he appeared unkempt and unaware of his surroundings.  Will claimed that a cigarette pack in his shirt pocket was not his, but belonged to Brother Dave, who he was "caring" for by lighting up a smoke for him every half hour.

The folklore of Will's physical abuse of his brother, no doubt stems from the years that Will lived off of his brother's money, and the gross negligence his brother was obviously subjected to.
