Now instead I associate the clamshell with full moon,
or maybe, since a clamshell isn’t perfectly circular,
with the current early waning gibbous moon
phase, which I also relate to the tombstone
of Jesus rolling aside (as the moon, the tombstone,
wanes). But I still associate Raven with my past
waning crescent to new (dark) moon inspirations.
