In alt.ascii-art.animation, BTW, alt.ascii-art is a better place for this content, since it does not animate and gets more traffic. I've crossposted there. If you do want animation, and have a C compiler, look here: https://github.com/Eli-the-Bearded/vt100-slowcat I'll gladly take additional animations if you have them. colin randall <[email protected]> wrote: > Curiously tho' ... a couple of months ago i did a search for an article > in the 'deja-news archive' (which is now owned by google) and it > wasn't as messed-up as the above shows > yep ... they'd removed leading spaces but not compressed others > and ... replaced line-terminators with a 'token' HTML is not inheritantly ASCII art friendly, and it shows. > so a quick search'n'replace of the line-terminators and realigning > the leading edge was relatively easy (moslty due to it being like a > regular shape) ... looks like one of those 'endless knot' pics > . > _e_ > _dP"9b_ > _dP" "9b_ > _dP" "9b_ > _dP" "9b_ > 8888888888888888888 8888888888888888888 > 88 _dP" 88 88 "9b_ 88 > 88 "9b_ 88 88 _dP" 88 > 88 _ "9b_ 88 88 _dP" _ 88 > 88_d8b_ "9b_ 88 88 _dP" _d8b_88 > 88P" "9b_ "9b88 88dP" _dP" "988 > _d88 "9b_ "98 8P" _dP" 88b_ > _dP"88 "9b_ " " _dP" 88"9b_ > _dP" 8888888888888b_ _d8888888888888 "9b_ > _dP" "9b_ > "9b_ _dP" > "9b_ 8888888888888P" "98888888888888 _dP" > "9b_88 _dP" "9b_ 88_dP" > "988 _dP" _d b_ "9b_ 88P" > 88b_ _dP" _d88 88b_ "9b_ _d88 > 88"98P" _dP"88 88"9b_ "98P"88 > 88 " _dP" 88 88 "9b_ " 88 > 88 _dP" 88 88 "9b_ 88 > 88 "9b_ 88 88 _dP" 88 > 8888888888888888888 8888888888888888888 > "9b_ _dP" > Chaos Arrow "9b_ _dP" > by Alan De Smet "9b_ _dP" > "98P" > " That's a good looking figure. Elijah ------ VT100 animations are _very_ much not HTML friendly
