The book deals with humanity's interaction with a three armed species, and has phrasing like "On one hand ..., on the other hand ..., but on the gripping hand ..." There's a sequel to the book (which I have not read) called _The Gripping Hand_. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mote_in_God%27s_Eye > -- > ███████████████████████████████████ > █░░░░░░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░███░░░░░░░░███ > █░░███████░░█░░████░░███░░████░░███ [chan] 711 > █░░░░░░░██░░█░░░░██░░███░░░░██░░███ spooky mart > ██████░░██░░███░░██░░█████░░██░░███ always open > ██████░░██░░███░░██░░█████░░██░░███ stay spooky > ██████░░██░░█░░░░██░░░░█░░░░██░░░░█ https://bitmessage.org > ██████░░██░░█░░██████░░█░░██████░░█ > ██████░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░░░█ > ███████████████████████████████████ Not very spooky.
