Probably nobady did it before. 
Most of the ascii art generated was because someone asked for it.
I drew ascii of themes, let say pigs, dogs, eagles, etc then I drew 3 or 4 of each. Or simply I drew what was in my mood.

But there is long time since I was an active ascii artist.
