Thanks everyone but I just found out that the shirt measures about 14 to 
15 cm from the center of the bullet hole to the top of the OPEN collar.  
You may as well put the shirt flat on the ironing board and measure it 
that way.  That is about 10 to 11 cm from the top of the collar as seen in 
the motorcade photographs.  You can tell from the government stuff at 
maryferrell.org that that shirt is about 0.547 inches per set of 
alternating dark and light stripes and now we find a telling photo in a 
Weisberg book where it shows that there are about twelve stripes from the 
seam to the top of the open collar.

book on page 597 and there we find that shirt with the open collar and 
barely countable stripes on it.  At least they are countable in the
