It's a sad, sad story where the Republicans are today. Frankly, >I don't understand that an educated man like yourself seems completely >unable to see what the state of the GOP of today is. A lot of working class people have found out that the elitist Democrats hate them. And nobody is going to vote for a party that hates them. Why would they vote for a party that: -- thinks they are racist. -- is racist, wanting to discriminate against whites. -- is hostile to their religious beliefs. -- thinks their girl athletes should have to compete against biological males. -- think kids win penises should be allowed to run around in their daughter's locker room. -- drives up the price of energy, under the "environmental" banner, while driving heavily subsidized electric and hybrid cars and putting heavily subsidized solar panels on their roofs. -- wants to take the guns of law abiding citizens. -- uses the public schools to indoctrinate in "anti-racist" (meaning, racist) indoctrination. -- opposes school choice. -- wants to build low income housing projects in their neighborhoods. -- cares more about what Europeans think about the US than what their fellow citizens do. And so on. Did you notice that the Republicans *gained* seats in the House of Representatives in 2020? https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/28/us/politics/democrats-republicans-state-legislatures.html .John ----------------------- http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/home.htm
