So, you think a reasonable way to proceed forward is to create voting
"protections" to solve a problem that has not been identified?

A disturbingly high number of states with Republican-majority legislators
are creating restrictive election provisions in response to a false
narrative that widespread voter fraud is a genuine problem - a narrative
that began with Trump - adopted and believed by his supporters - and then
repeated by Republican congressmen/senators in a brazen political ploy to
endear Trump's supporters to them, unconcerned with whether the narrative
is either true or can be remotely supported. It is apparently enough to
simply parrot it because this "basket" of supporters are not particularly
analytical and facts are not their strong suit.
