  There are a lot of questions about what these measures did/do to affect 
the spread of the virus.

  Texas opened up 100% a month ago. Their numbers are much better than 
many places with the most restrictions.

  Panic would have helped how? The MSM was doing all they could to 
fearmonger. Of course now that Trump is out they don`t do this any more, 
even though the numbers are worse. COVID-19 was, and still is being used 
as a political weapon against Trump.

  That you can imagine such people having difficulty isn`t very relevant. 
In order to get public assistance you need ID.
