Interesting montage of stories all coming together in the closing days of 
the Johnson administration. I have to confess that until I became a 
student of the JFK assassination back in the early 1990s, I had never 
heard of the Clark Panel. This was during my senior year in high school 
and following day-to-day news events was not a priority of mine at the 
time. Now that I'm an old fart, that is becoming true once again. Part of 
the reason is my judgement that the current crop of so-called journalists 
are not worth listening to. The current line up of network news anchors 
pale in comparison with Walter Cronkite, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, and 
Howard K. Smith.
