They told you you are sidereal something but tropical something 
else: they are confused. 

What if I told you there is no difference between the two? What 
if there was one Mars only?

As follow are some prominent examples of well-known positions 
that are both or neither/nor tropical and/or sidereal: of which 
they know absolutely nothing, being  a aforesaid confused.   

a)Let's start with an ascendant: the USA ascendant is not 
Aquila: much as attractive or convenient that ornithological

e)The Moon's positions are of primary importance, thus Moon in 
Corvus, Ophiuchus, Cetus, Auriga and Sextans do reveal quite a 
lot in any horoscope. 
f)Venus in Pegasus, Scutum, Crater, Ophiuchus, Cetus, Orion, 
Sextans and Hydra mark any horoscope with ups and downs, e.g. 
present Venus in Scutum favors China. 
g)Alixe e.g. has Moon rising in Cetus: therefore ascendant 
Cetus, Juno in Scutum, Mercury in Sextans, Venus in Orion and 
Pluto sitting on the USA ascendant in Serpens Cauda.
h)911 Osama Moon is in Orion (Xi1) with Eris W 0 altitude 
eastern in Cetus, NYC.
i)Eris will never enter Taurus much as Pluto never enters 
Aries. 
j)In concluding this brief it is clear that only people 
disinterested in your real natal skies will confuse you with 
their lack of interest: incapable of grasping even the 
elementary concepts. Fortunately such and such never really 
attempt at prediction and would shun e.g. medical advice as 
there are 7 signs or 90 degrees or even formidable 270 angular
