Once again, most of the above are news articles, which is just fine! 
But, sometimes, the news media gets things wrong!  And, so, unless, it's 
behind a paywall, try to read the original papers, at least the summary 
of the paper to get at the core of the research.  And along the way, 
check the citations for the paper, whether they be positive, neutral or 
negative!

But once again, the claim that I am making is not with respect to 
ancient microbes that have survived in the (mostly) loving, nurturing 
environment of our World but microbes that could survive the harrowing 
journey through interstellar space!

The "Life After Impact" article is quite interesting!  Of course, were 
these microbes extraterrestrial??  If so, where's the Nobel Prize for 
this discovery?!

Dawn
