One common cause of the convertible top not
working properly is a worn out or faulty **latch motor** located above
the windshield. This motor controls the sensors that detect the
position of the top and the trunk. If the motor does not contact the
sensors correctly, the top may stop halfway or the trunk may not
close. You can try to lubricate the motor or replace it if necessary.

Another possible cause is a **leak in the hydraulic system** that
operates the top. This can result in a loss of fluid and pressure,
which can affect the top's performance. You can check for leaks in the
hoses or cylinders and refill the fluid if needed. The fluid reservoir
is located under the rear seat cushion and can be accessed by removing
the seat and the insulation. The fluid type is **Mopar 5127381AB
Hydraulic Fluid**.

There is no specific reset or restart procedure for the computer that
controls the top, but you can try to **pull the fuses** for the top
motor and reinstall them. This may clear any error codes or glitches
in the system. The fuses are numbered **16 and 24** and are located in
the fuse panel.
