Hello Peter, I've found the best method to use those tools is via the web to start with. Sometimes you can find what you are looking for quicker by just looking at it online. Then if it looks like they have useful information you really want to download (all of it for your vehicle) you can download it to a safe place. Simple questions, like looking for the rear seat release, might be all you need for now. My download was for a slightly older car and I found the answer quickly by just reading on the web. I did go back for the full download and it was just short of 900MB. I went back later for one of my newer cars and just did the download method and didn't have enough free space available to get it all. The newer cars have so much available, especially in quality pictures. Then you would have to extract the download and then go through it to find what you need. It sounds like you did it all correctly. That last question is basically your last before what can be a really huge download. They don't tell you the size before doing it. Also once you have the archive you will need to decompress it again locally just to get the ability to do any searching on your machine. Good luck, David
