That happens on my 06.  In my case the car thinks there is still a key 
in the ignition.  The little contact piece of metal in my car's key slot 
is either worn out or sticky, so when parking long term, like at the 
airport, I make sure I turn the lights to OFF.  It's been like that for 
years.  Suppose I could fix it but I just don't feel like it.
