For all we know, there may have been the Rolls-Royce of collar studs.

Not that we are surprised that our name is taken to be synonymous with the best.

Building the best car in the world is almost incidental.

Our number one objective is to make a car to satisty the needs of a very special, exacting sort of person.

It must, without fail, take him absolutely anywhere he chooses to go.

And leave him as it found him.

It must reflect his standards of excellence; cater to his taste in comfort; satisfy his prowess as a driver.

It has to be a business asset, a social asset, and personal asset.

Without fuss and with very little effort.

Isn't this rather too much to expect of a watch or a lawn mower?

And wouldn't you be surprised if you didn't get it all, and more, with a Rolls-Royce?
