If I were still driving daily in the nearest big city -- Denver -- as I used to a couple of years back I'd probably have a dash cam, maybe something like the Vantrue N4 shown at https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/best-dash-cam/. It has a front-facing camera, inside view camera, and a remote rear camera.
