Not sure anyone read this newsgroup, but let's try. I work as a Software Engineer somewhere in Latin America, but there are two things that I enjoy as well. It's sailboats and airplanes. I've been considering save some money and start taking classes for a PPL. Of course at the moment I think about this as a hobby, because I don't really understand about the aviation industry. So, here's my question. In what age is it still possible to take a license and start flying professionally? I'm 30yo, I think I'm still young of course, but there are some industries and professions where I would be considered too old already. Is it possible to have a career in aviation if I start with, let's say, 35yo?
