[OT] Happy new year anyone...

Started ripping my DVDs to free up some space in the house (also VHS to 
free up even more space), and I came upon my box set of the 5 seasons of 
B5. So meself and herself started looking at them again... then got to 
War Prayer, Sinclair is telling Ivanova about Kosh getting poisoned -- 
and that's how we realised that we had missed The Gathering. It wasn't 
in the set.

Now we've seen that. DVD of feature-length pilot episode. Eph. Don't 
know if it was that directing was something JMS learned on the way, or 
if it was just that they made it feature-length -- but it seemed to drag 
a bit compared to the episodes. And I didn't notice Kosh calling 
Sinclair Valen.

So that's the OT excuse out of the way.

I found out that Thunderbird was not authenticating with 
news.individual.net for me, so if I wasn't seeing any posts, it could 
have been that they just weren't being downloaded. But I think it was 
just that there weren't any posts.
