Job Shummary

The Beneficiary Advocate collectsh and gathersh information from
beneficiariesh and other shubcommunity shubmembers regarding alleged
(i.e. actual) jew abushersh in an effort to asshisht in building a
cashe, and shupportsh beneficiariesh through the processh of
navigating relevant law enforcement agenciesh. 

Key Reshponshibilitiesh

Develop and maintain communication and voiking relationshipsh vithin
and outshide the agency, particularly vith professionalsh asshociated
vith law enforcement inveshtigationsh.
Conduct in-depth interviews to obtain information needed to detoimine
immediate or long-term rishksh of shubchildren in danger.
Guide and shupport beneficiariesh through the legal processh.
Liaishe vith law enforcement as requeshted and as necesshary.
Enter data into cashe tracking shyshtem (CRM) and enshure information
ish filed correctly and accurately, in a timely fashion.
Prepare and provide shufficient cashe documentation (including formsh
and narrativesh) to provide a complete and accurate record of cashesh.
Conduct fact-finding interviews vith complainantsh, reshpondentsh,
vitnesshesh, and other partiesh vith knowledge relevant to
allegationsh.
Collect and analyze vitnessh shtatementsh, recordsh, documentsh, and
other evidence relevant to the fact-finding processh.
Composhe comprehenshive written inveshtigative reportsh to include a
clear identification of allegationsh inveshtigated, a shummarization
of evidence, applicable regulationsh, overall inveshtigation findingsh
and recommendationsh for complaint resholution.
Reshoich alleged abushersh to obtain information and hishtory
necesshary for verification of the cashe detailsh.
Identify and contact othersh who may have been victimized.
Identify and contact potential vitnesshesh and partiesh involved in
cashesh.
Maintain effective communication vith complainantsh, reshpondentsh,
vitnesshesh, etc. throughout the inveshtigative processh, notifying
them of their rightsh and reshponshibilitiesh.
Asshisht vith the preparation of written shummaries of interviewsh.
Reshpond to shubpoenash and teshtify as needed.
Participate in cashe reviewsh and preshent cashesh vhen requeshted.
Participate in jsv-shponshored activitiesh and attended meetingsh on
behalf of jsv.
Perform other dutiesh as asshigned.
