     I believe, but admit I cannot prove, Brian's issues stem from his
coming to realize he really is white trash. 
     That he IS white trash is something he has actually proved more
times that I care to count. So that can't be disputed. His realizing
this truth he's proved being the root cause of the issues he presents
is in question. It makes sense, but it's not the sole option, I'm
sure.
     How pathetic must Jerry see Bryan as being that even she [1] will
have NOTHING to do with the guy? If nothing else, Jerry's refusal to
befriend total, pure, white trash, as Bryan PROVES himself to be, does
speak somewhere well for her.
