> You don't say what type of banjo it is, I have a 5 string Lund which I bought off a jazz musician in the 1960's. It is a well used instrument, but I've not played it for many years because it doesn't suit my style (bluegrass). However I recently took it to Andybanjo at Faversham, who specialises in banjo renovation and sales. It will be going back to him in a year's time for renovation, and will be nylon strung! They are certainly rare items and according to Andy well worth keeping.
