E-Mail New User Verification Door?

I'm looking for an easy way to verify users.  I used to use an e-mail 
verification script, but lost it and can't find it any more.  I'm running 
EleBBS, but anything for Remote Access would probably work as well. 
Anything would be better than nothing.
