I'm a former slackware and gentoo user. I use mainly Debian for my servers and 
and PopOS as my desktop. 

Why, because most packages in the wild have a .deb build. 

Also, I like to focus on stable releases vs rolling releases. Just don't have 
the energy to troubleshoot rolling releases. Back in my day, sure..... No kids, 
no responsiblities, etc....
