PC> PC> Thanks in advance. PC> Ok here is how I do it on my system. In the prelogin menu the first option is commands ran before the menu is shown, I added a GD display a file which basically states that an email is going to be sent to you right now and you are to get the code and enter it and will be given immediate access.. After that command I put the -V command to validate email address. In the Data field I put 20 which is the access level that will be given to the user if they enter the correct code. In the access field I have s10|s15 so basically anything that is between acess level s10 (new user) and s15 (unused) will get that option to email validate. That's it on the Mystic login side. The tougher part is setting up a gmail account to send the request from the BBS. In the Servers section of -cfg choose general options, First enable SMTP send, then in the SMTP Host enter smtp.gmail.com:587, in the SMTP IP Type I have Default IPV4, in the SMTP Login choose the gmail email account you want to use. In my case it is [email protected], in the SMTP Password, you enter NOT YOUR GMAIL PASSWORD, but in the config of Gmail you have to set up a Google App Password to use for older softwares. Do that in the GMail settings (Google it and get the exact place it is located), that will give you a password that is like 15 characters. Copy and paste it into the SMTP Password. Then set SMTP Auth Type to login and SMTP Use SSL/TLS to Yes. That's it.. Hope that helps.. |11 Bucko |14- |06Wrong Number Family Of BBS' |07- |03www.wrgnbr.com ...
