Because you are delegated power to punish the *duly convicted* after due process, but NOT the FREE people that have yet to commit any crime? If you can make it as hard for an honest person to get a gun as a criminal, aren't you placing them both in the same prison... you just created the prison rules outside the walls of the prison system to effectively make everyone serve time incarcerated as a criminal. Apparently your logic on reducing crime has failed... with all the gun laws restricting HONEST people and letting criminals run loose, it has only created more crime. -- -Reality Matters-
