Going way back, _When Worlds Collide_ showed a rogue planet's
entry to our solar system.

Several of the Lensman novels portrayed the Galactic Patrol
using planets as weapons. I don't think that Our Historian
ever said where they came from.

James Blish had the planet He gallivanting around in _Earthman,
Come Home_. I believe that Amalfi also grabbed some other planet
to smash the Vegan orbital fortress in the same novel.
