Well, as I read it:

It is a rogue star, named Bellus, and orbiting around it
is a planet named Zyra.
Also, a second planet, " In the novel, the object that destroys
the Earth is another planet. The change to a star makes the film's
title inaccurate, as is the movie poster's wording: "Planets
destroy Earth!"

And, when our 'Earthlings' get to Zyra, they find
it is habitable (so has had previous life processes!).
