That reminds me of an incident that happened to me in 1994
or 1995 (probably 1995) in Vancouver.

I had borrowed a book of Dylan Thomas stories from my
W.I.S.E. Club friend Bert (Lambert) Beson, who is also a
Newfoundlander, and had it with me at a Kitsilano laundromat.
A slightly strange (maybe fairy-like, I forget) couple came in
and saw the book and got me to read from it to them.

But then later when I moved back to Newfoundland I took
the book with me, and Bert was mad at that, and I had
to ship it back to him. Anyway, I hope he and his wife
Sharon are in good health.
