(I have my calendar linked to iCloud and linked to four Windows 10 computers in addition to the iPhone.) I usually set audio alerts before the term begins to go off 10 minutes before each of my classes, which is a total of about 280 alerts. The alert called 'minuet' is loud enough and fairly annoying, so I can't ignore it. There are still many strange things that I can't explain. If I change the notification sound to "by the seaside' which is a ringtone, I still hear 'minuet' even though I made the change in several places in the settings app on the iPhone. I also must put my Apple Watch in my truck if I want to get audio alerts. It turns out that the Alerts make the Watch sort of buzz, but 'minuet' does not play, so I changed the Watch setting to Prominent which does not help much. My belief is that if you change the Watch settings so that you can get audio alerts on the iPhone, then the Watch more-or-less just becomes an ordinary watch. If I did not have to work so much on my real job, then perhaps I could do more experiments with the Watch and iPhone. I have not been able to find a precise description( I write computer programs sometimes) of exactly how the watch and phone work, and it takes a lot of time searching the internet hoping to figure anything out.</div><div></div><div></div><div>If there's one thing I'd have to guess about the people in this subreddit, it's that we all have awesome ringtones.
