Bablu, a bubbly and childish young man, is an aspiring chef who always pray=
s to God whenever he gets the chance to be one. Meanwhile, Manu who is a ve=
ry big gangster and a exact duplicate of Bablu is getting chased by the pol=
ice. Coming back to Bablu, he gets hired as the head chef at a hotel and me=
ets the charming Sonia Kapoor, the hotel catering manager and the hotel's o=
wner who has a crush on Sonia. Bablu falls in love with her as they interac=
t with one another.

One day, when Bablu takes Sonia out for lunch trying to express his feeling=
s, he gets arrested because the police mistake Bablu for Manu. Bablu is abl=
e to prove his true identity, but not before Manu hears of his duplicate an=
d decides to take his place by trying to kill him. But Bablu manages to sav=
e himself, yet Manu threatens that they have to switch places if he wants t=
o survive so Bablu unwillingly accepts. Soon due to his womanizing nature, =
Manu flirts with Sonia, but ultimately fails at trying to kiss her. Soon Li=
ly, who is Manu's girlfriend tries to flirt with Bablu thinking him to be M=
anu but also fails. Soon after, Bablu, who is a very kind man, starts teach=
ing all of Manu's gang members, including Lily about morals.

I intake and I deficiency were investigated in thirty vegans (eleven males =
and nineteen females) consuming their habitual diet. I intake was estimated=
 using the chemical analysis of 4 d weighed duplicate diet collections. The=
 probability of I-deficiency disorders (IDD) was judged from the measuremen=
t of urinary I excretion in 24 h urine specimens during the 4 d. There was =
wide variation in I intake. Mean I intake in males was lower than the refer=
ence nutrient intake (RNI; Department of Health, 1991) and mean intake in f=
emales was above the RNI, although 36% males and 63% females had I intakes =
below the lower RNI. Mean I intake in subjects who consumed seaweed (n 3) w=
as in excess of the RNI, and approached the provisional maximum tolerable d=
aily intake (World Health Organization/Food and Agriculture Organization Jo=
int Expert Committee on Food Additives, 1989). The probability of IDD in th=
e group investigated was moderate to severe: three of five subgroups were c=
lassified as moderate and two subgroups were classified as severe IDD possi=
bility. The findings highlight that vegans are an 'at risk' group for I def=
iciency. The I status of vegans and the subclinical effects of low I intake=
s and infrequent high I intakes on thyroid function in this group should be=
 further studied. Our work has also raised the question of adequate I intak=
es in groups where cow's milk is not consumed, and has exposed a need for m=
ore research in this area.

Technical Abstract: Appressed pubescence genes in soybean cause hairs on th=
e upper surface of leaves to lie flat while pubescence remains erect elsewh=
ere on the plant. For decades this trait was believed to be controlled in s=
oybean by duplicated single genes, Pa1 and Pa2. However, reports in the lit=
erature conflicted as to which phenotype was dominant or recessive. Two pop=
ulations were developed, each approximately one hundred individuals, an eac=
h segregating for one of the appressed pubescence genes. A combination of S=
SRs and RFLPs were used in each of these populations to map the independent=
 genes. Two-point analysis weakly linked Pa1 and Pa2 to separate linkage gr=
oups. Lack of strong linkage suggested the trait may not be controlled by s=
ingle genes. When QTL analysis was performed one major locus and several mi=
nor loci were detected in each population. We report the mapping of the gen=
es controlling appressed pubescence in soybean nand their placement in homo=
logous regions. Although appressed pubescence was originally reported to be=
 single duplicate genes, we report that it is actually a more complex pheno=
type with major duplicated genes and minor modifying genes. These results o=
ffer interesting implications regarding the evolution of duplicate genetic =
factors and the definition of qualitative traits.

Pomona, CA - November 4, 1998 (PRIMEZONE) -- Keystone Automotive Industries=
, Inc. (Nasdaq: KEYS) today reported second quarter net income for the peri=
od ended September 25, 1998 of $4,082,000, or $0.23 per share, after costs =
incurred to consolidate duplicate warehouse facilities, on net sales of $81=
,438,000, up from pro forma net income for the comparable period a year ear=
lier of $3,406,000, or $0.23 per share, on net sales of $63,396,000 reporte=
d in the comparable quarter a year ago. Year ago net income is on a pro for=
ma basis, giving effect to an income tax adjustment to reflect taxation of =
the income of Inteuro and Car Body, acquired in January 1998, as "C" corpor=
ations, rather than "S" corporations, at an estimated statutory rate of app=
roximately 39 percent. Keystone had 17,797,000 weighted average fully dilut=
ed shares outstanding in the second quarter compared with 14,800,000 for th=
e prior year.

For the six months ended September 25, 1998, Keystone reported net income o=
f $7,942,000, or $0.49 per share, on net sales of $151,310,000, compared wi=
th pro forma net income of $6,127,000, or $0.46 per share, on net sales of =
$126,141,000 for the six month period ended September 26, 1997. Fully dilut=
ed weighted average shares outstanding for the six months ended September 1=
998 were 16,363,000 compared with 13,390,000 fully diluted weighted average=
 shares for the comparable prior year period.

"During the quarter, we also consolidated duplicate warehouse facilities in=
 seven locations. We expect this action will eliminate duplicate overhead e=
xpenses and make our operations more efficient. Year-to-date, same store sa=
les increased seven percent compared with the year ago period, which is in =
line with our expectations. While total revenues were up 28 percent for the=
 quarter and 20 percent year to date, they were slightly below consensus es=
timates due to several factors. Most notably, the attention and effort requ=
ired to divest the hard parts operations and to consolidate duplicate facil=
ities resulted in our only completing one acquisition in the first half of =
this year. We do expect to complete one or more smaller acquisitions during=
 the second half of this year."
