I don't have an answer to this, but offer the following observations:

The numbers given contain all digits 1 to 9, but exclude 0.
The individual digits, left to right, always increase in the number.
There are only 126 four-digit numbers from 0000 to 9999 that have no zeros 
and have increasing digits left to right. Seems unlikely to be by chance.
Two of the numbers are prime.
The last digit looks like the word length except for "4. Separate = 3457". 
Separate is the only word with a 'p', but that seems a bit vague.
The given words include 17 individual letters.
Catacomb includes the letter 'm', which doesn't appear the the other 
words.

Anyone else have anything?
