The bureaucratic machine state (not deep state any more), is mostly
there to protect the interests of citizens against big business.
Wilson wants no such protections for us, and so maligns it
relentlessly.  It is responsible for everything wrong and nothing
good.  And citizens need to be protected from its own protector.
