Pretty much everything the US exports gets taxed by other countries! Trump’s main complaint is with NATO members, all of which signed an agreement committing to spend 2% of their GNP on defense and to contribute military manpower at certain minimum numbers. Most NATO members do not. Including wealthy Germany and France. Instead they allow the US to protect them with money and man power. And, we have done so for 72 years. https://tinyurl.com/mrpa8zb2
