The neat thing about human rights that are encoded in written 
constitution that includes the right own and bear arms, is that it 
prevents other people telling you that you can't own a gun. And in those 
places where you do have the right to use force in self-defense to 
protect your life, people can do that.

In other words, you don't get a say in the matter.
