My understanding is that he owns a construction contracting company.
That does not mean that the accusation is not one you would hear in
especially american car dealerships.

What that warranty actually represents is that Kia bets that very few
of their cars will need repairs within those limits.  100000 miles for
rust hole damage sounds darn good in canada where winter road salts do
reliably rust out car bodies.  

If kia is willing to take that bet, so am I.  Even though I do/will
not own a car.
