for joy riding - it's going to triple in value in ten years.

Meanwhile your Tesla is next to worthless as a trade in.

Model Y holds its trade-in value better because of high demand for 
crossovers/SUVs, whereas the Model S has experienced faster depreciation 
due to heavy supply. YMMV.
