Brahmanand Bhajan Mala is a book that contains the bhajans (devotional song=

Here are some examples of the bhajans and poems from Brahmanand Bhajan Mala=
:

Shri Ramakrishna Stuti
This section contains 18 bhajans and poems that praise the life and teachin=
gs of Sri Ramakrishna, the guru of Swami Brahmanand. Some of the bhajans ar=
e based on the incidents from Sri Ramakrishna's biography, such as his visi=
on of Mother Kali, his meeting with Totapuri, his harmony of religions, and=
his passing away. Some of the bhajans are also expressions of Swami Brahma=
nand's personal devotion and gratitude to his guru.

One of the bhajans is titled "Nath! Kaise Narasimha Roop Banaya" (Lord! How=
Did You Assume the Form of Narasimha). It is based on the Hindu mythologic=
al story of Narasimha, the half-man half-lion incarnation of Lord Vishnu, w=
ho killed the demon Hiranyakashipu to protect his devotee Prahlada. Swami B=
rahmanand compares Sri Ramakrishna to Narasimha and praises his power and c=
ompassion. He also says that Sri Ramakrishna is the inner controller and pe=
rvader of all beings, and the ultimate goal of Vedanta. The bhajan is writt=
en in Barahans raga and Dhamal tala.

Nath! Kaise Narasimha roop Banaya!
Jase Bhakt Prahalad bachaya ||Re||
Na koi tumhra pita kahave, na koi janani jaya
Thambh fodkar prakat bhaye hari, ye achraj teri Maya ||1||
Adha roop dhara prabhu nar ka, adha simha suhaya
Hiranyakashipu ko pakad dharan me, nakh se fad giraya ||2||
Garjan sunkar devlok se, Brahmadik sab aaya
Hath jod kar vinti keeni, shant swaroop karaya ||3||
Antaryami sarv vyapak , ishvar ved bataya
Bramhanand satyakar sabko, yeh parmaan dikhaya ||4||

Lord! How did you assume the form of Narasimha!
Just as you saved your devotee Prahlada ||Re||
No one can call you father, no one can call you mother
You broke the pillar and appeared as Hari, this is your wonderful Maya ||1|=
|
You took half the form of a man, half the form of a lion
You caught Hiranyakashipu on your lap, and tore him with your nails ||2||
Hearing your roar from heaven, Brahma and others came
They folded their hands and prayed to you, to calm down your form ||3||
You are the inner controller and pervader of all , you are the Lord whom Ve=
das declare
Brahmanand proves this to everyone, this is your evidence ||4||

Shri Sarada Devi Stuti

gs of Sri Sarada Devi, the wife and spiritual consort of Sri Ramakrishna. S=

isciples and devotees. She was revered as an incarnation of Goddess Kali by=
 Sri Ramakrishna and others.

One of the bhajans is titled "Ma Sarada Charan Kamal" (Mother Sarada's Lotu=
s Feet). It is a song of surrender and devotion to Holy Mother. It describe=
s her as the embodiment of love, compassion, purity, wisdom, grace, and bli=
ss. It also says that she is the mother of all beings and the giver of libe=
ration. The bhajan is written in Bhairavi raga and Dadra tala.
