How anyone can call Windows 11 Vista an improvement is beyond belief. In previous versions of Windows, if you shut your laptop down and traveled, then reconnected to work or home via a VPN, File Explorer would report that network connections to drives were already yadda yadda, open the folders and leave them there empty. This is established, expected, and okay. In in the event that you did not immediately reconnect via VPN, the tabs still remained open with no content until a network connection was made. A simple refresh would repopulate the content. Does Windows 11 Vista do that? No, it reports the connection message and CLOSES ALL the fucking tabs when you click on the message. So if you are working in an airpost waiting for a flight, then have to disconnect, leaving the File Explorer tabs open, and shut down to board, when you get on the plane and resume - all your folders previously open - GET FUCKING CLOSED as soon as you click one of the messages. Then you have to hunt all the damned folders down again and open them back up. It's stupid to have take a screen dump or smartphone pic just to get back to where you were.
