It's not the software I care about using, it's the hardware. An emulator on my laptop doesn't feel as nice as using my C64/128 or Atari 800XL or Amiga 1200 or Mac SE or Apple //c or ... But, I do like it when I can plug my old computer into an HDMI display instead of a CRT. I couldn't wait for LCDs to get better back in the day, and to never use CRTs again. Same with floppies! Good riddance. I do most of my computing on remote Linux regardless, so I just need a nice terminal.
