A San Francisco man was sentenced to 242 years to life in prison for
child molestation.

Jonathan George Taylor, 54, was convicted of molesting multiple
victims over the course of 15 years, according to the San Mateo
District Attorney's Office.

Taylor molested and raped a 4-year-old girl multiple times between
2011 and 2013. The victim, who now lives out of state, first
reported the crimes in 2019.

A police investigation located two additional victims who are sisters.
One was molested by Taylor in 2003, when she was 9 years old. The other
was molested between 1998 and 2001, when she was also around 9 years
old. She was later raped by Taylor when she was 17 years old.

Two other victims came forward in 2020 and reported attacks that
resulted in four additional counts of child molestation.

Taylor was previously convicted of sexual battery and lewd acts with
a child in 2007.

A jury in June found Taylor guilty on 18 felony counts. Prosecutors
urged a maximum sentence based on Taylor's many victims, previous
conviction for a similar crime and lack of remorse.

San Mateo County Superior Court Judge Lisa Novak denied probation
and sentenced Taylor to 242 years to life with just over five years
credit for time already served.
